A unique virtual experience for one participant at a time

The Belgian theatre group Ontroerend Goed has not been idle these past few months. The COVID-19 crisis pushes us back into our limited bubbles and we sometimes (or even often) lose connection with the world, society and other human beings. Therefore Ontroerend Goed went looking for ways to connect again. They turned the limits of the pandemic into possibilities by creating an online and world wide performance. They want to find what unites us in these dividing times.

TM is an individual performance in the form of an intake-talk. One actor, one spectator. Through a series of questions and assignments, they will check whether the spectator is a potential member for the organization. The conversation allows the audience to consider their feelings of powerlessness and gauges their personal worldview. The absurdity of the questions fired at the spectators checks their candidature. Are they one of those who show reluctance about the idea to hurt another human being? Are they prepared to believe that this organization counts many members? More than they’d dare to think?

How to participate

• Buy your ticket at Lippu.fi for the time slot of your choice
• One day before the performance you will get an email with a link to the performance. Nb! The email will be sent to the email address used when signing in Lippu.fi webshop.
• TM is an individual experience. Please come alone.
• Be on time.
• Use a computer with a good Internet connection and Google Chrome browser.
• Make sure your microphone and webcam are working and that you close any other programs on your computer.
• We advise wearing headphones to avoid any distractions.
