Punch up! – 5 years of Resistance & Glitter

Gloriously rude, unstoppable, glitter-covered Punch Up! is a phenomenon now celebrating its 5th anniversary by joining forces with & to bring this special show on stage. Traditions of performing arts are upended in this sparkling spectacle that blends drag, burlesque, and stand-up while doing its underground roots proud, and blowing our minds in the process.

The performance is created by its performers: drag-artist and producer Mira Eskelinen, foulmouthed writer-comedian Juuso Kekkonen, and comedian James Lórien MacDonald who tackled trans-fatherhood, among other topics, in his solo show Cuck. Every night the trio is joined on stage by different visiting performers who are the brightest stars of the Finnish stand-up, burlesque, and drag scenes.
