We are now seeking an hourly-paid lighting technician for fixed-term employment, primarily for the &Revontuli stage. The lighting technician’s duties include the implementation and maintenance of theatre lighting as part of the technical team. The work includes board operating during rehearsals and performances, set-up and dismantling of productions, and maintenance of lighting equipment and systems. Previous experience with network and video systems is considered an advantage. Our working languages are Finnish and English.
We hope that you have previous experience and/or training in stage lighting or similar lighting technical work, as well as familiarity with the GrandMA3 console. We value good teamwork skills and the ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary and multilingual team within the rhythmic pace and schedules of theatrical work. The role requires a proactive and responsible working attitude. The work includes evening and weekend shifts according to performance schedules.

The employment is fixed-term and part-time (average 100 hours/month). Training for the position will be provided, agreed during August. Salary is in accordance with the theatre industry's collective agreement.
