Pre-show Breakdown

On Wednesday, March 25th, at 5:45 pm, Homa Shokri, Dash Che and Pauli Patinen discuss the performance in the Espoo Cultural Centre lobby.

These pre-show sessions create a shared sense of anticipation familiar from sports events and offer background and context for the performance. More on the &Fest Pre-show Breakdowns.

Debate

On Thursday, March 26th, at 5 pm, a pre-show debate will be held at Kupla under the title “Stop the Virtue Signaling
Should theatre get involved in politics?” (in Finnish). Challenger: Kaarina Hazard vs. the Opponent.

Our debates thrive on disagreement – bold, sharp and always with a sense of humour. More on the &Fest Debates.

Festival Club: I Was Wrong

On Friday, March 27th at 8:15 pm in Kupla, Jussi Sorjanen hosts an open mic where anyone is welcome to step up and share something they’ve been wrong about. The open mic segment is mainly in Finnish, but contributions in English or other languages are also welcome. After the confessions, the night continues with a party.

Each festival week culminates in club nights – science, culture, conversation and dancing, all wrapped up in the very best festival atmosphere. More on the &Fest Clubs.
