Performing (in) the Neighbourhood

Join us for “Performing (in) the Neighborhood” - a playful contemporary theater workshops happening on Saturdays from 14:00 till 16:00 on September 5th and 12th and October 17th and 24th in Tapiola.

What if a tree became your performance partner?
What stories could a street sign tell?

How might a bench inspire movement, play, or connection?

Together, we’ll explore public space through performance, curiosity, and play. “Performing” here isn’t about perfection - it’s about tuning into your environment, experimenting, and discovering new ways to express and get in touch with the surroundings.

No previous experience needed, just bring your curiosity and a willingness to try something new.
The workshop is designed mainly for adults, but families with children aged 6+ are warmly welcome. The sessions will be facilitated in English, and participation is completely free. The workshop is facilitated by performance educator Dash Che.

Come play, explore, and reimagine your neighborhood. If the weather is bad we will spend more time inside but still wear waterproof clothes for short outdoor explorations.
