The young breakout director’s new creation is a tribute to mothers and other caregivers. Mario Banushi will also be visiting Finland himself.

Mario Banushi, known as a phenomenon in Greek performing arts, visits Finland

We are delighted to introduce Mario Banushi to Finnish audiences. At just 27 years of age, the director has already achieved international success with his works Goodbye, Lindita (2023) and Taverna Miresia – Mario, Bella, Anastasia (2023).

Banushi's latest work, MAMI, premiered in February. The wordless performance is a visual poem about the mother-child relationship. A show that is a tribute to the women who nurtured us.

We will bring the performance to Espoo in October at &Louhi (Espoo Cultural Centre). Mario Banushi will also be visiting, and you can meet him on Friday, October 10, in an artist meeting after the performance. Tickets are selling fast, so buy yours now!
