Do you get a buzz from turning interest into sales?
& Espoo theatre brings surprising performing arts from Finland and around the world to the stage.
We are a dynamic theatre with an ambitious programme and an open-minded audience, and now we want to reinvent the way we approach sales.
Join us as our Sales and Customer Relations Manager, finding new audiences for our inspiring productions and building customer relationships that last from one season to the next. In this role, you will help shape who we reach, what we offer them, and how we turn interest into sales.
Your role will combine proactive sales, customer relationship building and sales development.
• Win new customers. You will identify opportunities, start conversations – particularly with businesses – and turn initial enquiries into proposals and confirmed sales.
• Develop compelling packages to sell. You will identify audiences for initiatives such as shared ticket offers and create appealing packages around our programme for businesses, organisations, and groups of all kinds.
• Build lasting customer relationships. You will look after our existing customers and work with us to design a loyalty programme that encourages long-term engagement.
• Reimagine group sales. You will lead a group sales development project and work with the team to improve our existing programme for group organisers.
• Track results and keep improving. You will test new approaches and assess what delivers results.
What are we looking for?
• You have a strong track record in winning new customers, developing sales, and creating successful concepts. You have opened doors, brought in new customers, and grown sales.
• Use CRM and ticketing systems with confidence. Previous experience of Lippu.fi systems would be an advantage.
• You know how to connect with people face to face, by phone, by email, and online. You listen, identify what the customer needs, and give them a compelling reason to come to the theatre.
• You manage your work in a structured way: planning, prioritising, taking action, and following through on commitments. You are comfortable using digital customer relationship management tools.
• Knowledge of the theatre and / or any other art and creative sector would be an advantage, but your experience may equally come from another field, provided you are genuinely interested in our programme and know how to find audiences for it.
You will report to the Sales and Marketing Director and be supported by our seven-person marketing and communications team – a place where ideas do not have to arrive fully formed and where we are not afraid to change direction. You will bring the customer perspective and sales expertise to our shared thinking, with the freedom to influence, experiment, and drive sales at & forward.
Salary is determined in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and consists of a role-based salary plus a personal supplement.
