The play is based on Heidi Köngäs’s novel by the same name and adapted for the stage – for the actor Kaija Pakarinen – by the author. Cellist Lea Pakkala’s interpretations of Oskar Merikanto and J.S. Bach’s dramatic music accompany the heart-rending tale.
