The collective is known for its gripping performances, stunning acrobatics, and a unique circus tent. Arctic Ensemble’s values are communality, self-sufficiency, and focus on the accessibility of art for all.

Kallo Collective

Kallo Collective is an internationally renowned independent physical theatre and contemporary circus group founded in 2009. The collective has produced 18 works and toured in Europe, North and South America, Asia, China, New Zealand, Australia, the Middle East, and Georgia. In 2020, the group was awarded the State Prize for Circus Arts and in 2017, the Sirkuksen Lumo Award. The collective’s productions have been staged in 33 countries.

Johanna Juhola

Johanna Juhola is a virtuoso accordionist and a composer whose music combines elements of Finnish and Argentinian tango with world and electronic music, and even flirts with pop. Juhola’s style is best described as fantasy tango. Music critics have praised Juhola’s work, describing her as a virtuoso front-runner of accordion music, an unruly innovator of tango, and a musical superhero.
