Surtitles
We offer performances in several languages. Most productions include Finnish and English surtitles, available through our free mobile app. For selected performances, surtitles are projected onto the stage.
Not all productions include surtitles. Details about the language and surtitling of each production can be found on its webpage.
How to use the surtitle app:
Download the free & Espoo Theatre app from the App Store or Google Play in advance and ensure that your phone is fully charged during the performance.
Upon arriving at the show:
1. Put your phone on silent or in 'do not disturb' mode for the duration of the performance.
2. Open the app and follow the instructions.
3. Select the performance.
4. Choose the subtitle language.
5. Subtitles will start automatically when the performance begins.
