About
What others are saying
"Sinna Virtanen is one of Finland’s most distinctive artists. She has a unique ability to combine elements that seem unlikely to go together. In Arakhne, these elements are professional wrestling, tapestery weaving, and spiders! One can expect a humorous, intelligent, and moving spectacle where nothing is self-evident. Watching Sinna’s performances, I have often found myself emotionally charged, even when I couldn’t quite grasp where or why a sudden burst of laughter or a lump in my throat had come from."Jussi Sorjanen, Artistic Director of &
