Saara Turunen

Saara Turunen (b. 1981) is a multi-award-winning writer and theatre practitioner, and one of the most translated Finnish playwrights. Her work is characterised by exploration of gender, norms, and art. In addition to her theatrical work, Turunen is known for her novels Hyena Days, Irrational Things, The Bystander, and Love/Monster. Her work has been translated into multiple languages and performed internationally.
